Tarureka Estate Wedding: James & Emily

James and Emily moved to Wellington from Christchurch in 2011.
It’s not easy starting a new life in a new city and being away from family but if you are with your most favourite person in the world,
it will always feel like you’re home. With family.

Emily told me when she was looking for a venue, she searched Google for vintage wedding venues and found Tarureka Estate.
She fell in love with the place the moment she saw it and just like that, the search was over!
I feel the same way about Tarureka, it is one of my absolute favourite venues and it’s not hard to see why.
Everything about it is just oozing with beauty.

James and Emily, thank you for allowing us to document your special day and we hope it marks the beginning of only amazing adventures for you both.

Brackenridge Wedding: Harvey & Rebecca

I’m very grateful for doing something that I love and also for the people I get to meet and become friends with along the way.
Rebecca is one of those people. I first met her in March 2011 when we worked on our first wedding together.
Since then we’ve worked on numerous weddings together and became friends. I’m glad we did because aside from her gorgeous looks, she’s also one of the most likeable people you will ever meet.
Her beauty radiates from the inside and you can see that glow reflected in Harvey’s eyes. These two could not be more perfect for each other.

When Rebecca asked me to photograph her wedding, I couldn’t be more thrilled.
Every single detail at the wedding was well thought out, I don’t even know how Rebecca managed to DIY so much stuff in the middle of wedding season!
Her sister, Melissa, who came all the way from London to celebrate this day with them did all the flowers. I haven’t seen Brackenridge look that pretty!

Harvey and Rebecca, Jay and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of your wedding day, which absolutely reflected all the amazingness that you both are.
